Change Id or Username or Account Name

Hello Steam,

First i want to tell the truth, my Id or Username or Account Name is my ex-GF name. we dont have any relationship more with her. i cant change my inventory at this account. i love steam, i love the game all of my own in steam. but if im login steam, and write the Id or Username or Account Name, i remember her. so..... can i change my Id or Username Id or Account Name, literaly this Id.

Not gonna happen.
VVAlve made an error in the database setuup and fixing that error to allow for this idea would basically be a multi-million dollar undertaking., and potentially create more security holes and performance issues during and after.

Its not gonna happen. The best you can do is create a new account and family share the library of the old account. You can then transfer the inventory items you can from the old account over time.

Otherwise... yeah this is all you.
You can either live with it, fix it as above, or deal with it in your head.

You can only change the name of your profile, not the user you use to login

I'm afraid not, my lad. My login name is the one I used years ago, and brings back bad memories to me, but I can't change it either.
If it's too much, create a new account and start fresh from scratch.

Yeah. It kinda sucks but just consider this. Valve admitted to a mistake on this one. They didn't declare artifact a mistake . This should give you an idea of the monumental levels of messed up that happened when they created the dbase.

By the time they realized ithe error it was too big to change.
