Billing address issue on Steam's end
Hi. I live in India.
I am trying to checkout an item during which I'm trying to change my country of residence to India as well. I already have funds in my Steam Wallet. Put in from codes bought here, not less than 36 hours ago.

It asks me for my billing address. No problem. I put it in. It doesn't accept it, tells me to 'update my billing information'. Over and over, this has been the situation for hours now.

I have put it in in every way imaginable, I have literally copy pasted the address from Google Maps, I have copied from my electric bills, card bills. I have even tried other addresses entirely, for cities I don't even live in.

I have tried different browsers, tried within the Steam Client.

Doesn't.
Update.

Steam.
WTF is going on? PLEASE FIX THIS, I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY GUYS.

If support people are reading this - I opened a new support ticket recently.
Apologies for how this may read, I am simply frustrated, confused and agitated. There's an online game sale going on I don't want to miss if possible, and I have genuinely tried everything I can from my end.
All I can do is catch your attention and see if y'all can find this issue on your end and fix it.

That aside, are you physically logging in from the new country?

Do you have a payment method with a billing address tied to it from the country?

Yes, because I have arrived at the conclusion that this is no longer something I can resolve from my end, the context and content are different, hence the new topic.

And yes, I am in the new country. Physically. Sitting here. No question about it. No VPN's or whatever either.

And no, I had to add in Steam Wallet funds via a vendor from amazon(recommended in Steam's FAQS so verified) which worked fine.

So I am trying to pay via Steam wallet and update my billing info as Steam asks, which could not be more accurate considering where I am copying it from(to reiterate: literal card and electric bills).

I am just trying to get Steam's attention at this point. Have a support ticket with them, and just opened a support ticket with the company whose product I am trying to get. This is nuts.
You must have a payment method with a billing address tied to it from the country you are physically in now. More on that here...

Wait, are you saying I can't use Steam Wallet funds to achieve the same?? I just put in those funds yesterday. Bought them of the Steam FAQ recommended vendor BECAUSE the other methods didn't work.

Won't that work?! I literally have to use a method such as a debit card or netbanking to achieve this?!

Apologies, I am actually confused. Clarify if/when you get the chance and you have the energy/will for it. Otherwise/either way, take care and may this year treat us all better.
