It's a Twitch Streamer, go figure...

I've done Twitch before, the Company went South, & people started moving
to a platform under Microsoft, I think, called Mixer, right along with the Guy who
made Twitch famous... He moved to Mixer, & some followed, while others refused
to use Mixer anymore...

They say if you use anything else, besides Twitch, or even go as far as doing anything
that Twitch doesn't like, you will loose everything on Twitch, your Account, your status,
everything... It's almost as if they own your Soul...

i collector all the cool badges that i can find i love the idea but now with all the new things such as steam point shop it really came down now for me

i currently have like 11,556 cards in my inv but most are sets that i have not crafted yet due to i want to keep them when ever i don't like the badge i have ill choose 2 new ones to craft every now and then


as a kid this was always my dream and im so happy to where i got now even to this day

id think i spent like 3000 Aud just on all my cards maybe more but i can't keep up it did cost me alot thoe

Valve has mentioned in recent Days, about talks of Removing STEAM Trading Cards...
They also mentioned the idea of Not Removing STEAM Card Badges, but are cooking
up something in the Future... They have not come to a conclusion of when, or if they
will even be Removing STEAM Trading Card Badges at all...

Only time will tell if they even go through with this, though...

I can't remember when they spoke about this? It was possibly during the Grand Prix,
or Lunar New Year of 2020 that it was brought up...

They have not spoken about it since, unless they changed their minds,
or I just was gone for too long & missed something through the Year?

steam point shop it self is only for items for profiles ( it will takes a long time to level up with a steam point shop) :D

and another thing is people pay real money to get this level

The seasonal badges.

I don't think they'd remove trading cards either, too much money in monetization of the entire platform, but there is a way to slowly level your account through the point shop.

I can't see trading cards being removed as those are for crafting badges and getting XP but it seems Valve will quietly phase out small things awarded from crafting those badges such as backgrounds and items which can instead be obtained through the points shop.

@j4mesox4d that would be a very cool idea to have the background and emoticon from the steam point shop and not through when we are crafting

( how ever i think valve dose need to do more about there point shop and make it a bit easy for player like my self who don't buy much games and i don't get award as much as i like to be anonymous on steam


but if we where to get points for other things such as buying cards or even adding money to my steam wallet id be so happy )

There are a lot of cheap badge cards, costing pennies. 5 or 6 cards for less than $ or £.
Badges from AAA games obviously cost more, often require up to 10 cards to collect, but at the end - either (cheap or expensive) give the same 100exp.

If you've spent yours 1000$ for games, that's cool! If for the cards... er.. solely my opinion, but that's less cool.
