So Steam Gives Free Stickers, While Everyone Else Gives Games........
Puts a lot into perspective.

They dont need to do anything, but it doesnt make Steam look good either.

I keep seeing people saying that Valve doesn't need to do anything, but then complain when Valve doesn't do anything

A few people who notice this arent enough to make Valve stop doing nothing.

Thats the problem.

Companies giving away games for free just to lure people into their platform doesn't make them look good either.

Do Battle.net, Uplay and Origin give out free games? If not, it's certainly not everyone else. So far I've seen Epic and GoG do a giveaway.

Btw, this game is free to keep on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/729660/Blackout_Z_Slaughterhouse_Edition/

Various games I want aren't on GoG or Epic, I guess that makes those stores look bad.

When will people learn that every store does its own thing and that you can use them all without issue?

After years as a loyal returning customer i can expect a little more then stickers. Valve is blatantly just shaking down money of the end users. Just look at Artifact for instance.

Everyone on Steam gets treated equaly, just because you're a "loyal returning customer" doesn't mean you're entitled for free games.

If they want customers to return then yes they would. Why would i spend my money any longer on a platform that forces players to pay for actual playing a game like Artifact. That a big insult to all end users and the industry.

Beside the huge fact that every other platform or service has much more better deals. Right of the bat for everyone. But from Valve, im getting freakin digital stickers and far worse deals. Loyality needs rewarding otherwise customers dont stick around. There's litterally no better deals on my wishlist on Steam. So they have a customer that wants to spend money, but finds better deals elsewhere. Thank god for the free market. So it's only a matter of time that Valve will be corrected by the industry.

The points shop is the loyalty program from Valve. And considering the threads from people about not receiving those points and wanting more items in the points shop, it seems to work.

Keep in mind that things don't need to accommodate you personally. You are but one drop in an ocean.

There is also no reason why you can't use multiple stores at the same time.

It's a utter joke.

No, thank god not. And sadly im not the only one. People already found their way to cheap serial sites in the past. But now it's like the whole industry is moving on, except Valve. You see the same opinion elsewhere. From Youtube, Reddit, Streamers, heck even to these boards or friends. The waves of the ocean are clearly moving.

Origin will start giving their 24 years-old ♥♥♥♥ in 3 days, Uplay would probably do so for Chinese New Year and what you have linked to this thread isn't a game.

And those free games result in people making an account, taking the free games and going back to Steam.

Yup. If i love the game i will purchase it here. I wished they were delete button on EGS so i can delete games that i got free over there and purchased over here.

I use ignore feature over here for game i dislike. Win-Win for me.
