I checked the email address which is

[e-mail]

It seems like a scam to me to try and get my account info.

At the bottom of the email there is an address:

SteamGifts, 720 King St W, Suite 453, Toronto, ON M5V 3S5, Canada

I know that Valve is in the US

Headquarters: Bellevue, Washington, United States

So it's definitely fishy that this organization's address is in Canada.

Has anyone else got this?

It seems too good to be true.

If you have no knowledge of entering any giveaway, report it to your email provider.

Anything from Steam would likely be in your client as the pop-up when you sign in.

Never give out your personal details and never respond to strange e-mails.
Never use your Steam Login on any website.

Btw, steamgifts is just a site for giveaways from other users. i use this site for 5 years now. gave a lot of games away and won a lot of games. no scam

Is a website where you can do or enter giveaways for steam games. Even some comunity moderators use it. You registered 5 months ago, entered 6 GA and never participated again.

You might not know but every year there is a hollyday event, this year you can open 5 boxes per day, with random user created GA (that of course a lot of other people enter). In other words kind of the same that is everyday, but with boxes.

You can delete your account if you wish, but im not sure of the procedure. You can google it or just ignore the emails.

Just to be super clear: You didnt won anything, is not "enter and insta win", is just a email letting you know that the event started.
