This has to be the most worthless sale ever in the history of Steam. No extras like backgrounds or emoticon. I'll just replay some good games. Twenty Percent of games...Come on!

Can't access queue to see new games, can't access wishlist. Not sure what update is going on, but clearly today isn't the day to buy anything from Steam.

This. Same here. Various suggestions of clearing cache, checking your internet and router etc when it's Steam's end. I'll wait until Steam works again

I'll admit, I'm quite stingy too when it comes to spending on steam. Like unreasonably stingy. I almost never purchase anything below 75% off which even I think is asinine. However, a sale is a sale. Be appreciative for any special sales they throw in our direction regardless of what percentage is chopped from games you may want. It takes a lot of work to set up even a regular sale let alone a big seasonal one like this. Steam doesn't get to decide what percent they can take off a game. They have to work with developers towards an agreed upon discount. Be happy they're able to even come up with anything.

And if one of your main complaints about a sale is whether or not there's exclusive Steam Points Shop items, then I don't think the sale is what you should be calling useless.

No need to call what you don't want useless.

It's def server side.
However it's gone back to normal since 10 mins ago.

Marked up in the past month to be on sale for the exact same price (or a bit higher) just for the 2 shopping days.
