Query regarding currency used in Steam's South Asia region

I'm from Nepal, which is in the South Asia region, so we use US dollars as steam wallet currency. There are no steam wallet codes produced in my region (as far as I know), & since our wallet currency is in USD, does that mean people from my region can use wallet codes purchased from USA since it's also in USD? Are there any other currencies that may be compatible with the South Asia region?
