Swear/Word Filter is not working

Since this morning I've noticed that words that would normally be filtered are now being shown in full.

Is this related to the other bugs everyone is suffering from?

They're testing out making the swear filter optional. If you go to the store page and then to Steam Labs up at the top, you can opt in to or out of text filtering, even letting you choose what does and doesn't get censored, even filtering mundane words like "potato" if you so feel like it.

Though if you didn't opt in to it in the first place, I guess that is a bug.

Just out of curiosity, if you opt in and enable the heart/asterisk filter there, does text still not get filtered?
