i was checking a game player count on SteamCharts.com (the site says its not affiliated with valve)
and the numbers it gave me did not match what was steam client was showing for that same game at an exact same time,
anyone knows this sites stats are any good or not cause i used check this sites stats a lot and didnt notice this before.

It's accurate. (But remember some games are not only on steam so you're only seeing half)

They only pull public info so, if a user has their profile or games details private, they can not see it. Valve's numbers are correct.
