Good co-op/multiplayer horror games?

Before I used to be too scared to play any horror game, but recently I've been wanting more and more to find one to play with friends. The thrill and excitement of them is what I love. Being in a constant state of unease knowing something might pop out at any second. I've been playing SCP secret laboratory recently and whilst it's good, it's not really scary tbh other than the occasional little jumpscare. The single player scp games look great but I'm looking for a multiplayer experience.

Games are not scary.
But a nice coop game is dead island.

Get both as pack, or part 1. For a 5er (just because it goes on sale for that)

Id recommend DayZ. The constant threat of zombies, wolves, bears, and other players makes this a very suspenseful game to play with friends.
