Chronicles of Riddick: assault on dark athena

I'm looking to get this game so I can play it again but finding a place to get it from seems impossible. Anyone got any ideas of where to get it?

I wouldn't buy it tbh, I have it on steam but can no longer launch the game as the DRM can't connect to the servers. Maybe there is a work around it but It doesn't work if you try run it normally.

oh i remember this game... It took months to be cr***d no wonder it doesn't work anymore a lot of this drms are not being paid anymore and people who bought the game are fuc***

This is why 3rd party DRM are bad, people didn't believe but when it hits end up forcing people to do things they didn't had to do,because devs/pubs doesn't want to come back to removing the crappy 3rd party DRM.

I have Dark Athena on GOG. That version doesn't have DRM, but apparently it was removed in 2017 from the store. Probably a publisher decision.

I may as well be the unfortunate prison guard and the developers are Riddick about to drive that tea cup into my body!

Shame that the Riddick game is so badly mishandled the way it is, i played that first one, but i always wanted to play this one as well.

It's more of a licensing issue than a DRM issue. The GOG version had no DRM and was removed too.

True, but things like Tages, SecuRom, etc that need to connect to a server is basically cancer as it's only matter of time before they cut server ties for the game, and end up having to cracking the game because of lazy devs/pubs not wanting to removing them rather leave it to rot away.

Now licensing issues is a real common issue, which why games keep getting delisted overtime from sale, which sucks, and the fact is publishers are more than likely not going to renew it either if they believe if it's not worth the value, or the someone asking too much in the licensing agreement for renewal which also common issue, like Hasbro and Actvistion fighting each other, which we lost all the transformer games, and etc, and even Platinum Games for some titles.

i found DA on oldgamesdownload site and its a 6gb file,although i had to download a mega.az downloader. ran the game as admin and it ran without any other steps,but from reading some had trouble getn it to run. try nvidia inspector i think i read if its not running.
