If you bought a game it is yours forever. There is no thing as "The game was deleted". The only thing that happened was that it was purchase disabled which is irrelevant for previous owners. So if you want to play it again go ahead.
And the promotional items are part of the game. There is nothing Valve can do about it for previous owners
And my opinion besides your actual intention for this thread is...
No I do not want this game to come back. It had its market time. Actually a fair amount of it for a poker game. Just because some people might be late to the party does not mean that anything should be done about it really. That is basically how marketing and economics work.
Telltale is gone and the licenses are toast.
If you didn't buy the game - I think tough unless there's a legitimate third party key seller out there - that would be a risky purchase though because the developer went bust.
Another reason to mourn the loss of Telltale - those Poker games were fun. I heard the actor who plays the Heavy did more dialogue for Poker Night than he did for TF 2.
