If I share my account with my friend, will the hours he played gonna get added to my hours?
I want to share my account with my friend via family share through Steam.

He wants to play Red Dead Redemption 2 Single player campaign.

The thing is, Im also currently playing the game, if he starts to play it, will the hours that he have played going to be added to my own hours on my profile or will it be separate on his account?

Also, what about campaign itself since Im not finished myself yet, will he be able to create a new game without messing with mine or?

What about achievements?

The only thing that do not work is trading cards.

BUT, in this case your friend will be disappointed because Red Dead Redemption 2 is excempt from Family Share.
Any game that uses third party servers to login, in this case Rockstar Social Club can not be shared over Steam Family Share.
Same for games by Ubisoft that need UPLAY or EA games that need Origin.

you dont share the account, you are not allowed to share your log in with anyone.

you can share your library thru the family share system. and not all games can be family shared. Red Dead requires a rockstar social club account, and cannot be shared.

If you're going to use the same computer, remember to use different accounts.

Family Share will make it all separate. EXCEPT for potential VAC bans - if your friend cheats in a VAC protected game, you'll get a VAC ban too.

Other than that; he'll have his own campaign, his own playtime, and his own achievements.
