Browser login not working - content security policy preventing Javascript
Hi,

When I try to sign into store.steampowered, using either Firefox 79.0 or Chrome 84.0 (i.e. whatever is the latest version), the loading animation just loops endlessly without prompting for a steamguard code.

Looking at the page using Firefox/Chrome dev tools shows some errors related to Content Security Policy blocking a number of JS files from being loaded.

If I disabled the CSP in Firefox, it all starts working again ... but obviously I wouldn't expect to have to disable a security setting to be able to login.

Probably should have someone fix that.

I have the exact same issue on Firefox, it seems to work in Edge though.

This is so annoying. Happens on any service that uses Login with Steam as well as the community page.

I also have this issue. Unable to login to steam on chrome without disabling CSP. Chrome is blocking jsbn.js and rsa.js ..

But how is this not a major issue that everyone complaints about? Why only a handful of people experience this? Maybe the akamai server here in holland is not updated with recent files?

It's because it only happens on newer browsers, Athaphian. As people update the problem will become more widespread.
