There is no bs.
Ok so why has nobody left a single review? That is what has be confused. SOMEBODY would have given a review by now.
Cool Story
As for why the whole set appears in the top sellers every now and then, if I had to guess it's probably because the whole system is still pretty heavily back-ordered, and so these leaps are probably when they get a new wave of shipments ready and accept peoples' payments (you can't "preorder" the index, you just place your order to reserve your spot in line and pay when your shipment wave comes up).
Thank you for the reply and explanation, I always thought it was just a marketing ploy to try and sell more products. How do you like it and would it be worth investing if you already have 4 eyes? lol(glasses)
I love mine, having upgraded from the original Vive. It is $1,000, though, so it really just depends on how much VR in general interests you; I'd say it's definitely the highest-end VR system you can buy at the moment, but if you're just getting into VR to see if you like it or not you don't really need a $1000 kit (especially since the controllers are by far the main draw of the system in my eyes, and you can buy those on their own and use them with a much cheaper pre-owned Vive or something).
Also just for the record, I wear glasses too and can wear them just fine in the headset, though mine are pretty small frames. I like to use prescription lens inserts I ordered online anyways, since it lets you put the lenses closer to your eyes and protects them from scratches.
honest and clarity... makes everything simple
Whats more honest about that?
Its just a different metric for measurement.
Its the same with "Steam is still learning about/profile features limited games" - they have to reach a monetary threshold not a units sold threshold. Because 1,000,000 sales at £0.79 isn't that impressive
