[Video] How to fix the Steam Library UI! Guide to tweaks
Say you were able to revert to the Old UI, until in the past month, it no longer worked and now you're stuck with the new UI.

Or maybe you've been using the new Library UI for months, and have just dealt with all the wasted space community features takes up.
Why are Achievements/Friends Who Play/Screenshots squished on the right hand side of the page???
Maybe you dislike all the portrait images and want landscape game images back.

Well, we can tweak the new UI, and fix those main issues, with custom styling. This video shows how:

Thanks for doing this
Great work, makes the UI far far more tolerable.

Thinking of putting out a written Steam guide.

Aww. I got all excited thinking this was gonna be a new way to revert.
It kinda sucks not having access to the numerous games I have spent actual money on through the platform. :(

It's not a revert in the fullest sense.
But Valve keep pushing out new features and obsoleting the Old UI (which you can still get back through Tharon's PackageInfo Converter), so I am customising the current UI to get rid of the biggest annoyances.

This is the new version of the video guide here:

it was fun while it lasted. The newest steam update broke SteamUI-oldglory setup. Seems like they changed the location of libraryroot.css inside the steamui folder.Maybe it can be fixed?

Just tick "Steam Beta" in the patcher settings (0.1.36-beta+) and it will work

5.0 is now out. Themes are working again. SteamUI-OldGlory has been restructured to now use Sass. (more Modular CSS!)
More details here: https://github.com/Jonius7/SteamUI-OldGlory/releases/tag/Release_5.0

Did i mention that you are doing great?
:-)

Thank you!

I think, though I need to better plan ahead, because themes were not applying for a couple of days with the Steam update. 5.0 may be a little quick out of the gate, even though everything is working fine, a user alerted me to a situation that I totally did not take into account - that is, if you have existing custom code at steamui/libraryroot.custom.css, OldGlory overwrites it. I am already putting out a hotfix to remedy this but am perplexed.
