I'm having trouble looking for a game....Hope this is the place to ask...

Not so much so if it doesn't exists I guess. Though I am old school. I'm looking for a game a lot like Dark Cloud. (dungeon crawling) procedural generated layouts each time. with increasing difficulty. however with a crafting and improvement system to upgrade gear and skills. BUT to top it off with returning to the top (from dungeon) or bottom (from tower) to sell the stuff you get and help rebuild the town /city/kingdom you're in. even with using the materials you find to literally craft and build the buildings in your city and place them anywhere. here is my caveat... I prefer a grim dark art style and much less the ultra cartoony modes. though while yes Dark Cloud and Azure Dreams ( I said I was old school) were bright and cartoony now-a-days I prefer sinister and serious.
So TL/DR: looking for a game like Dark Cloud mixed with Fallout 4, dipped in Azure Dreams and splashed with Dark Souls. Does this exists?!.. If no, would someone PLEASE make this game...

How about the game "Darkest Dungeon"? They use a "Cartoon'ish" art style but I believe it's very dark! :P

Very dark and creepy procedurally-generated dungeon crawler with different skills, crafting and a cool spellcasting system. No overworld though. Also pretty damn hard.

If we are talking oldschool, try Skies of Arcadia Legends, but it doesn't have random dungeons.

Atelier series focuses on gathering of ingredients and crafting, but I would not call it particularly
dark.

The closest equivalents incorporating dark themes that come to my mind right now are westrern games Neverwinter Nights 2, Dragon Age 1 and Elex. You gather materials for your castle/base and gear, but they don't offer random dungeons.
