If i were you i'd quickly change your password since the problem of these scam bots relies on you clicking their links. Once you click it, they inject your pc with kelogger/malware/trojan virusses that allow them to ahve acces to your account somehow.
Most of the times its just a phishing site, which want you to login in so they can get your account data (including steam guard account control).. Many people fall for this, sadly... But all in all, nobody should EVER click on a website linked from an unknown person, you should also be suspicious for friends posting some links, because I already experienced that they had some kind of malware which were chatting to all the people from the contact list, with a message content like "uh hey is that you on the picture? Click here! wwwDEFINITELYNOTAVIRUScom"
Nobody should ever fall for this and should inspect a hyperlink before clicking it ... also seen a lot of hyperlinks which were like "steamcomulnity" or obvious ♥♥♥♥ like this ..
To be fair, the only people that still fall for this are either kids or people who don't read the forums at all, they only come at the forums when it's already to late.
The problem is that people seemingly switch their brain off... I almost caught myself one time, "almost" clicking at the above described link with the msg "hey is that you blah blah" because it was a person from my friendlist and the Link also contained my Name, lol, it is a common type of skype virus which outuse a security gap with the logged-in-state which is transferred to their website, once you click the link, and which then have access to your account. ♥♥♥♥ is happening really fast if you do not care enough, but yeah, many people falling for the obvious scams shouldn't be an issue, sadly it is... why do you else think, that valve demolished the counter-strike trading? You buy an item, booya 7 days waiting time before trade. WITH AUTHENTICATOR! Without it's like .. idk 30 days? Plus a few days before the trade gets finished? Wouldn't be an issue if not so many re-tards would be out there : / so that's sadly the case. People falling for this poor scams.
True that.
