What happens to your Steam Points if you delete a review that got awards?
So you write a review, and some nice person decides to give it an award, and you gain 100 points.

What happens if you then delete the review?

Do you lose those 100 points? Does the person who gave you the award get their 300 points back?

So be careful when giving points to artworks and reviews, think before you give an award because the person who you give it to will keep the points, but the artwork or review can be deleted, and they will still gain 100 points in each award you gave to them.

Can't do it. Not yet, at least.

I got no points to give any awards (this sale I decided not to buy anything because I want to reduce my backlog first). And while one of my reviews did get awards, apparently you have to wait two weeks before you get the points.

If I delete the review, I'll have to wait two weeks before I can know if I still got the points or not.

I was hoping somebody had already done this experiment. At the very least, if they gave an award and then the review got deleted, they could see if the 300 points were returned.

You get the points two weeks after you have been handed the award.

Sorry if i necro, but does this mean if a Deleted review have an award. The Award wont show on either the one "Who gift Award" and the one "Who received Award" right?
What about the game got deleted on steam that has awarded review on it

It would probably generate an error and not let them give you the award.
