Linking Origin and Steam Accounts?
Hello everyone! I am a little frustrated because I really want to buy the Sims 4 expansions that are on sale here on Steam however my Sims 4 is through origins and I already have two expansions. I tried to do the "Non-Steam Game" transfer but I can't purchase expansions because it tells me I don't have the base game... Is there a way to register my Sims 4 game with steam that will allow me to buy the expansions while the sale is still going on? Or am I stuck paying Origin's never changing pricetag?

There is no way sadly. If you want to buy the Sims 4 DLC on Steam you also have to buy the base game on Steam.
Steam wont let you buy DLC for games you do not own on Steam itself.

unfortunately that's a trap from EA. you can't transfer game from EA launcher to steam (only from steam to EA by adding game keys on EA site).

This is a disgrace. We bought a game and we should be able to play with it without having to biu it a second time. Origin provides with a product key, I don't see any valid reason for steam not to allow transfer...
