Does the point badges give xp?

Does the point badges award profile xp?

I'm talking about this.

i want to see if it's worth it to spend 20k points on these.

100EXP per badge level, there 20 levels total to the points badge, each one cost 1000 points.
1000 points x 20 badges = 20000 points cost.
100 Exp x 20 badges = 2000 EXP you get.

I mean the 2nd post explain it, which is just simple math.

Also, the award badges give XP too.
10 for every award you got from someone else.
XP for giving awards seem to vary and drop with every one but seem to top out at 1XP after a few.

can you simply buy the level 20 points badge skipping the rest and get the full xp or do you have to get them in order?

You can just click on the level 20 badge.

if you net more xp by buying them all in order, or if its the same amount of xp for simply buying the level 20, buying them all would seem odd as you would spend more points to get the same amount.

It's same amount, you get 100exp each level, if you do one at a time to level 20 you have 2k exp, if you just buy level 20 it's still 2k exp. For buying it subtract the amount so if you bought level 1 for 1000 points, it subtract 1000 points cost on all the other levels, so it's still 20000 points no matter what if you buy them one at a time, or buy the last level 1st.
