Doom Eternal versus Dark Souls 3
I liked Doom 16 but Eternal's platforming seems to be happening all the time?
I liked DS3 from a little I played on a borrowed copy, up until abyss watchers. Then I threw in the towel. I also hated the swamps in Farron Keep although the building itself was gorgeous.
Soooooo ! Toss in your opinions here!

Dark Souls 3, Doom Eternal is just a jump fest while killing waves of enemies. Dark Souls 3 has got WAY more strategic options and combat.

I am not flush with money to spend without a solid idea of what I'm getting into. That's why I want your input

Yeah but the grinding in ds3 puts me off especially when I skipped enemies in one area

Are the later boss fights as frustrating as abyss watchers? I know they are said to be harder but hard does not equal frustrating

Well, you can grind ALOT in DS3. That is very true. But investing some time in a game rather then just running trough a game is a matter of personal opinion.

Every boss in base game DS3 is doable, you can always summon people/NPCS to help. Only the DLC's are HARD as hell. I never got to beat that one dragon in one of the DLC's.

Oh yes about that, are there still enough people playing in Asia servers who accept invitations? It would suck to do this stuff alone

To be fair I found them pretty ok, been more pissed by the Dancer of the Boreal Valley and Ashe of Ariandel DLC.

But that's pretty subjective.

No it's a jumper rather then a shooter, all the platforming is not needed in an FPS game imo.

hmmm so platforming prevails through most of the game? I don't know much about it and I don't want to watch full gameplays to find this out, so I am asking

Keep in mind that's just my personal experience, I would recommend you to check the DS3 forums as well to gather some infos.
