2. Stop being entitled steam doesnt care what you do as long as you give them money
Or will I end up buying less things, simply because they fall though the cracks?
Think, then type.
But that is a flaw on their part, they ought to be part of the library. There is no reason for them not to be.
Remember, think, then type. Think, then type.
The main reason they are not a part of your library is to cut down on the clutter. Imagine downloading a demo, playing it once, giving it the yay/nay, and never playing it again, yet there it is, staring you in the face for eternity. Yeah, thats not good.
Your method, though it works for you, is rather obscure and in all likely hood, not commonly used. Valve isn't going to cater to one customer or a small group of customers in a way that would annoy a large group of customers.
Yeah, I guess you do have a point. I mean you could actively remove them, but I do like that they do just go away once you get the full game. So yeah. You made an even better point than I though.
It's just odd that steam allows the user to "add demo to library" but it doesn't actually show in the library. Some demos do show up, even if you don't download them! Very confusing
I agree with OP here. Steam needs to have better access to demos here. I guess so far the only workaround is to use that link to check our licenses :/
