I've had this two times or so; although I don't remember what exactly happened. Try clicking into the field and just typing some garbage, possibly repeatedly. It's too rare for me to remember details.

The EA games are on Steam now, yes, but that doesn't mean you can redeem Origin keys on Steam. Chances are you can only put those in Origin.

Because it's not a Steamkey, it's an product key for Origin.
Enter them on Origin.

If i purchase Battlefront on steam will it just take me to ORIGIN ??? cuz thats what the peeps are saying it jus takes you to origin to make an account? Another thing is the Prices all thesame are origin or cost cheaper in steam? WHere should i buy the EA games ? steam or Origin ?

A lot of EA games require an origin account even if you buy them on Steam. Like GTA requires a rockstar account, or ubisoft games require a uplay account. Or dozens of other games that require external accounts.

Buy them on Steam or Origin, it doesn't matter. And you can do your own price comparisons on a per game basis can't you?

The store page will list whehter an Origin account is needed.

Buying on Steam means you also get an Origin account (if you don't have it already). Origin will run in the background. Buying on Origin means you DO NOT get a Steam version.

Base prices will be the same on both stores, but discounts can vary in moments.

You buy the game where you want to buy it, whatever has your preference.

i wish everthing was on STEAM, i cant remember all the silly account for hi-rez , epic, uplay etc. When i tried to play warzone, i had to install blizzard than it prompted me to instal activision. My head is battered i cant remember all the user names and paswords. Why cant they just put all the games into STEAM... thanks for helping anyways i see how steam works now.

Because there is no "they", and there is no universe where thousands and thousands of companies are all going to make the same decision. Use a password manager like a responsible person to keep track of accounts and also have decent passwords you're not reusing all the time. Double win.

EA games only activate on Origin

If you want an Origin game, on steam, you have to buy it DIRECTLY on steam
