Is item misrepresentation with 2 identical accounts considered scamming?
So, account 1 has a valueable csgo emerald knife and is advertising it on ppls screenshots, profiles etc. to offer him.

Now in his bio he puts a tradelink to a 2nd account that is setup to be identical to the 1st (basically impersonating himself), same profile & items EXCEPT the knife which is a similar looking but worth wayy less luring users to offer him something not noticing the difference and losing a lot.

Here an example:
1st acc: [removed]
2nd acc: [removed]

you can see how insane he is about making them identical, not only same avatar, friends, items and playtimes but even same account creation date and attempt to make same custom id.

Seen this years ago the first time, was wondering if its considered a scam by steam since its definitely decieving

Please don’t name-and-shame. If you think they’re violating guidelines, use the report function and explain the issue.

Well, unfriend (if necessary), report, block and forget.

Beside the naming & shaming rule, the accounts in question might also be hijacked/phished for this purpose, scammers don't use their own accounts for that for obvious reasons...
