trying to log in old account?

i have an old steam account but when i log in it say we see your on a different computer bla bla and wants to send email or text to email and phone # i no longer have. I would just make a support ticket but cant find where to make one and the problem i have aint in their stupid links!

lol thanks for more links that ive tried wish steam would make contacting them easier but no they would rather try to make me buy a game twice

People do account recoverys everyday. If you have sufficient proof of ownership, it's actually quickly done.

It's usually only an issue for people who cannot provide that proof.

they didnt ask all these questions when i was buying they games spending my money lol steam is a joke and i see them same people commenting on others post with the same links do yall even play games on here or just stick to forum chats

1. Because you have already given them most of that info at some point. They need to check it to make sure you are the true owner.

They need the info to verify that you're the owner and creator of the account.

I'm currently playing a game (not on Steam), but I died and am waiting for the round to end.

Sending an email wouldn't change thatthey need actual proof of ownership. Everbody can claim they own an account, not everybody can prove it.

You are making it look like you don't own the necessary proofs, though.

It's your old account. If you don't care, that's fine.

I usually try to help people with things. However, if people are showing signs of merely wanting to rant about stuff because it's out of their control and not wanting help, I rather help someone else.

yea sorry guy i was just frustrated with it i have a bunch of game on there and im not sure i can provide proof i used steam cards a lot to buy games only thing i really remember is my user name and pw but its ok just wont play c&c or aoe again lol
