Are you running any mods? Turn those off. Did you verify the game files/reinstall the game?

If the above was done, maybe one of these could be the solution to your problems:

look at this error mate:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities.exe, run by Utilizador.
46% memory in use.
16334 MB physical memory [8763 MB free].
26062 MB paging file [10292 MB free].
134217728 MB user address space [134171019 MB free].
Read from location 00002648 caused an access violation.

It shows an access violation of your RAM. Even interestingly it shows that you have only 46% used.
Then again you only have plenty of pagefiles left!

Use LSM and that should fix the imbalance of pagefile usage against your RAM.

Hi,

No, I wasn't using mods. Apparently your tips worked just fine for me.Thank you!
TugaPowah Apr 11, 2020 @ 12:42pm
Well I thought it was solved but no. So I decided to download that Loading Screen Mod but it didn't help either.

I feel a bit frustrated about paying 50 euros for a game that crashes all the time on a machine that is more than capable of running any game.

It crashes on launch (before you get into a city) or after a certain amount of time? If reinstalling/verifying fixed it once, did you try it again? It almost sounds like a sector is corrupted or something in that vein.

What is your GPU?
tacgnol06 Apr 11, 2020 @ 1:49pm
Are you running Citrix by chance for remote PC connections, working from home, etc?

It never crashed on start or loading the game. It crashes only after a certain amount of time. Like now, it crashed after 3 hours of playing and I am always saving to not lose my work. I am saving on the Steam Clous by the way. And I am not even having anything else open, like Google Chrome i.e..

Even 3 hours of playtime is a long time for a thermal shut down , l would check my temps
Another reason could be a faulty RAM stick and the windows tool may not monitor the issue .
Afaik , there was a recommended free tool called ´´ memtest ´´ on the net to check that
