you need to approach a friend to trade a card...
https://store.steampowered.com/springcleaning
All the tasks required are here. Playing games is all that is required.
I am not looking for a trade, I just want to sell any stupid cards I put up as fast as possible. Wither it is possible to search by username or not in the community market is a testament to how little f***s I give about trading cards
There is "badge progress" that when I click on opens up a window where it tells me to complete tasks such as selling/buying from the community market
and if the card is popular it should be very quick... within seconds..
That is a different badge.

Has nothing to do with the event.

This is the event badge.
Then Steam shouldn't put something unrelated there and confuse people...
Where, specifically, is "there" that you're seeing some kind of 'other' badge?
I did not see any confusing 'other' methods of doing the current spring event.
Have you restarted your computer / steam at all in ... I don't know how long?
