Gift Cards don't give the full price.
I used to buy a lot of $50 Steam gift cards and never got the full $50 from it because I live in Australia, and I only noticed the change when my friend bought me one for my birthday a few months ago. I was wondering if I could get the the missing amount of steam money that I didn't get into my steam wallet.
Note I'll have to look through my purchase history to count the money and see how much I am missing out on. If you aren't able to transfer the money than that is all good. I don't want you to go broke.

I have tallied a total of $137.74. You might want to count over again to see if I have made any minor mistakes.
Thank you for your time.

There is no missing money. You bought wallet cards in a different currency and that value got converted to your local currency.

You said you look at your purchase history, but you don't see why that is?

If you're buying Steam wallet card, or being gifted Steam wallet card, or Steam gift funds, from another currency, you will be explained clearly that one currency will not be same as another, as it's not 1 to 1, it's whatever the current exchange rate, it explains exactly what you get when converting currency to your currency.

Example let say £1 GBP equal to $1.25 USD, so if your from UK, and friend gifted you $20 USD, you will get £15 GBP when it converts to your currency.

If you buy a $50 AUD card then you get the full $50. Many Australian's have been burned in the past because they end up buying $50 USD wallet funds but end up paying $50 in their currency so they end up getting scammed.
I'd like to apologise on behalf of all Australians...

Heh, don’t worry about it - this kind of clanger isn’t exclusive to Aussies. There’s more than once that we’ve had to remind Canadians that there’s a difference between Canadian and US Dollars.

Me? I keep forgetting that the prices in the US store don’t include sales tax and it needs to be added before comparing regional prices...
