How am I supposed to share friends only video?

I privated my YouTube video only to be greeted that steam doesn’t let you private videos in there system. Like what’s the use in putting friends-only status for the videos you want to show if you have to make them public on YouTube. Is there a option to upload things without using YouTube because often YouTube is pure trash?

Steam can't override the video's settings on Youtube.

Try setting it to unlisted rather than private.

and how am i going to upload videos on steam without using youtube...? steam put a video option for a reason and i want to know how to use it without youtube. And I said it earlier in my made topic schmuck.
