Predator: Hunting Grounds Coming to Steam?

I'm considering getting the new predator game on the epic games store, but there is a steamworks folder in the files for the trial of the game.

does anyone know if this is proof that it'll come to steam eventually?

(P.S. The game is by the same makers of Friday the 13th, which is on steam.)

i thought when it launched on epic store, didn't someone discover a steam.dll file in the folders? maybe it will be coming to steam after the exclusive.

haha yeh. for me i wont be buying it still happy with my avp/aliens collection i got on steam alot of replay value.

plus this year will be a short purchase the way games are out on steam, i only want 4 games this year all out this year also.

Yea, i really miss AvP 2 it was a awesome game, but no players already.

It is underwhelming, even with all the additional EGS money they failed to bring any real content after release. Game died faster than you could blink, even though you are matchmaking with consoles and pc together.

That's what you get when you create a bland generic shooter and try to spice it up with a known IP franchise.

It is underwhelming, even with all the additional EGS money they failed to bring any real content after release. Game died faster than you could blink, even though you are matchmaking with consoles and pc together.

That's one of the biggest problems for some games they just flat out die, like you be left with die hard fans, but even they fade overtime to play something else. It's a sad life cycle.

Cross platform, and pumping new content only way to prolong game life, but that depends if anyone wanna stick around, or not.

they prob regret going to epic store. sometimes its not worth it never take the first offer. they should have been smart and release on steam or release on all platforms like i have been saying for years than you wont have a issue and piss off customers with exclusive bs.

Releasing it on Steam wouldn't have made it a good game. It's still bland and generic. Riding on the popularity of a known movie franchise doesn't make it enjoyable.

This. Even steam wouldnt have been able to save this game, i also hope that the devs regret going to EGS, but also that they regret releasing this trash.

IMO the biggest issue is that suddenly everyone makes PvP games, and some Devs hope that Players playing against each other is enough content delivered. I havent even heard of any additional content released for this game besides one Hunter i think.

The Market is already oversaturated with PvP, and even with gaming being such a large industry, focusing your game around PvP only, will most likely kill it before it even lived.

I just got this thread link, since I started to ask the same thing. It seems so far nobody know nothing for sure. We still got 1 month then we know.

I just played the beat, but I like the game. Yeah, it's feels an Evolve rip-off, but the designs! All Predator model looks awesome! Highly detailed every single piece. Sadly my RIG barely ran at 900p with Medium settings. Why they add a simply graphics presets?
Sad the game is dying, even with cross-play. They should give sale when they release on Steam and maybe a free weekend.

Which is understandable, because we never know what they give for free. Which why I also didn't buy anything from them either as I don't plan to buy if it goes free by them.
