Incognito ignores your cookies and thereby allows you to view Steam outside of your account, thereby bypassing your preferences settings.
I'm pretty sure you have something in your preferences that prevents you from seeing Genital Jousting.
What does show up when you type in a search?
DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme Venus Vacation - for example.
Shows up on every google search on steam and also on the steam store when you're not logged in on the website. As soon as you login - error: page does not exist. Because the game is locked for your region.
Like for example the game does not show up on UK Steam Page at all. Or on any UK based account type. Like that stopped ever anybody from creating another account with a different region LOL.
Incredibly dumb region locks. Don't even work for nuffin <_<
The game is free to play too! Which is even worse when u think about it.
Complain to the game dev/pub.
After I downloaded it, it shows up. Before, it just showed games that started with however much I typed in: D got a list of games starting with D, DC got a list of games starting with DC, etc. But DC Universe Online was NOT in the search results prior to me downloading it. As I said, this is really not the only game this has happened with: I can find it in the web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc) but not in the Steam app store.
It's not a big deal from that angle, since I can actually find the games using my browser, I was just curious if the Steam app might be excluding other games when I browse the library using the optional filter check-offs (FPS, MMO, etc). Obviously, I can search the store in the browser, I just wondered if I was doing anything wrong with the app. I have nothing filtered out: I can skip over a game with nudity, etc if that doesn't interest me, I don't need a "Steam nanny." :)
Actually, I'm tired of following this discussion. It's broken and I have an alternative, so. Thank you all for your input! :)
Good check! Yes, I am searching the store and not my library. :)
