Is there a way to play steam games on the switch?
I've bought games on steam that are also on the switch, that I now want to play on the switch.
Is there a way I don't have to buy the game again and am able to play it on the switch?

No. Different platforms.

It depends. If you have a switch capable of running Android, you can run the Steam Link app from the Play Store. Otherwise, nope.

No
I'd love this because I'm thinking about buying a Switch and don't want to re-buy stuff. I'd just be happy if they'd make licenses transferable. Same thing with Android, actually. If I already own it for PC, it sucks to have to buy the Android version all over again, just for portability.

Either have game stream from your gaming PC to your mobile device.

Or

Using Nvidia now cloud gaming service.

If trying to use the switch, you will need to jail break your switch, and install android onto it, and helpfully won't have problems using either the Steam link, or other streaming apps, or the Nvidia now service, whatever one you want.

Could look into Nvidia shield, or look into using your mobile, and get some kind of controller attachment. If this need to be a handheld device.

A phone with a gamepad and the Steam link app is IMHO the best way to play Steam games OTG.

Valve really should consider making a Switch app to stream our games to the Switch. That would be pretty cool.
You know Nintendo would never allow this, right?

Simple answer is : No. Because Nintendo already have their own store where you buy games from.

Is there not a way you can link the accounts up?

And Nintendo's store is horrible. Poor selection, poor organization, no user reviews, and no refund policy. They could learn sooooo much from Steam.

LOL, yeah, we should totally follow Nintendo's example of a poorly organized store that is primarily stocked with Japanimation games. Also, no reviews of any kind, no rating system, and no refunds.

Yeah, sooooo much better than Steam, with a much broader variety of games, a store that's easy to browse, user reviews, and an actual refund system.
