Steam's Changed Library/Status Privacy Settings
I usually leave myself set to invisible on my friends list and I've had my profile set to private for ages so certain friends can't find certain things on my profile, but now I see that the privacy settings relating to game status is different, I was confused on why I had this slashed eye icon if I set myself to online when I want to play games through steam with others, but your game status is now locked to your game library privacy settings and can't be changed separately, and all privacy settings is completely locked to private which make sense since it's all related to your profile, but game status wasn't one of these until recent weeks/months.

As much as I can remember, I've had a number of problems with inviting players through Steam if one of our game status was "bugged" and showed we weren't playing a game, and this stopped us from being able to invite each other to play something since it would invalidate the invite (the issue with our status "bugging" we now know that we just need to go offline from friend service and back online again and the friends list will update correctly -- which friends list not updating at all is still a major issue for me and others and causes a lot of problems technically and socially but that's for another post that's probably been made a million times)

I may soon test the problems with invites/joining friends when game status is forcefully set to private if we want our profiles private. I've had a number of close friends and a sibling wanting to keep their profile completely private in the past to keep certain information hidden from other specific users.
I would like to know why our game status is now locked to our library status and why we can't have them separate, for the possible problems this may cause with interactions with other users and any actual problems with attempting to invite/receive invites with/from friends since we're technically "not in a game" towards the users we're inviting.

I will attempt to look into this as soon as I can if some one else doesn't and post a reply saying what happens with inviting and see if the same problems arise similar to friends service not updating correctly.

It just seems to be an inconvenience and odd that our game status is locked to our library and may cause problems with interacting with other users, I'll have to look and check out any visible update details that I may find or if anyone wants to redirect me to some because I'm a little lazy.
I know there's an extent that this post isn't well made since some amount of it is preference or specific to purely social and a lack of knowledge of what Steam has done and decided and if there's any information I should have looked through prior to making this post.
