I'm sure he's sorry from taking you away from your SUPER CEREAL activities and forcing you to come here and read his thread which was answered in the first reply and seemed nice enough about it, but it made you FUSTERWATED! poor you! Go have your momma rub your belly, you'll live.
Dont address the basic point though.
People opt in to the adult content filters, and then come here and complain.
It isnt like someone just started putting the stuff in front of them.
Honestly there needs to be an actual porn tag because one nude scene in a game is hardly the same as an entire game just being naked pictures.
I agree. I have "opted in" since it doesn't bother if I see that stuff but I still left the "Mature content warning" thing that auto blurs that content, even pics on people's profiles lol.(So I can see that latest H-game trending in new releases but I can't actually see the screenshots)
It really baffles me how the thing works since, at times, stuff that is rather tame is blurred(deep cleavage, like a V-neck or sideboob) yet blatantly obvious sexual stuff is not.("Oh" face, pantless with legs raised but a convenient Title/banner blocks it, etc.)
It'd be, IMO, much easier and much nicer is there was simply a "Porn" or "Sex Sim" Tags. This way we can differentiate between Mature/Adult(Witcher, GTA) and Sex Sims(90% H-games and VNs)
I agree, also. Especially with second post.
It's all the same to judgemental and ignorant people. I've been trying to prove there's a difference between visual novels and a stack of nude pictures for years. The overwhelming majority doesn't want to listen. Basically, it's the same as if they'd cover their ears and start shouting "LALALALALA" if you try to reason with them. Valid proof and facts don't matter to people who don't want to see/hear them to begin with.
Most visual novels' content is made up of 15% of sexual content at most. So, most of them have a story as a selling point. The sexual content is just like putting a seasoning onto your meal. In regards of the amount of sexual content, visual novels don't differ much from games like Cyberpunk or The Witcher.
