Looking 4 good games in which you can salvage/retrieve equipment from enemies
Having trouble finding anything decent as of late and would like some suggestions
PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST BATTLETECH OR ANYTHING TURN BASED
Also, is there some sort of tag that means "salvaging equipment" or is that too specific?

Well, BATTLETECH would fit, as you'd loot exactly what those mechs have equipped. Same with Battle Brothers, but that's turn based as well.

You could try the Borderlands games as those are loot based, but not exactly the stuff they are wearing. If you are more into a hack'n'slay game with isometric view, try Grim Dawn or Victor Vran.
Again, loot is randomized and not what the enemies are using.

The Elder Scrolls games? I've only played Oblivion myself but think it's the same for Morrowind and Skyrim. You can loot what the enemies have equipped. So if an enemy has some cool armor equipped you want you can take it off their corpse.

thank you 4 your input. So nothing like "daemon x machina" out there, or am I just not looking in the right areas?
