Thank you for clarification. You are based AND redpilled.
So... What does that mean?
Nice looking out man, thanks for heads up, the 50+ updates certainly had my attention for a minute when I walked in from work and glanced over at my system. Now i can breath regularly again ! :cozyspaceengineersc::steamhappy: :skunklogo:
Good to know and thank you for letting us all know :)

Improved stability across Steam for system-level functions(Windows stuff) when running applications. It's a shared file, but still needs to be shared with every associated pathway which is why there are so many tiny files.

Thanks man. I was having a heart attack for a second.
In other words Microsoft has us by the nads one more time. Gotta love it.
..and apparently simply deleting the directx 9 installers (2010 versions) required for several older games.. Irritating.

edit: ah, they are now in the SteamApps/common/Steamworks Shared folder.

Thank you sir, you’re a gentleman and scholar :cozyspaceengineersc:
Thank you!
Oooooooooh. So that's what's going on. I thought something in my steamapps folder went loopy.
Well i see morely on games that i have, they removed the visual basic and the dot net frame work from many games as for the first time installing.

when you check for redist you will find now:
SteamApps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\

so i guess it always will launch that one when the game actually needs it.
