Games With Playable Shield-Users?

The shield is a heavily impractical weapon, sure, yeah, but I've been interested in shield-focused combat for a while now, since Patapon had a greatshield-focused character and Dark Souls let me beat the hell out of people with a dinner plate.

Now I'm chasing the dream of impractical shield use.
Are there any games that feature shield-based combat?
I'm specifically looking for RPGs with these types of characters.

Well, sight unseen because I don't know whether you already own it / play them, but Assassin's Creed Origins (and I believe the current one in greece) have shields which actually are of use.

Grim Dawn's new forthcoming DLC has a new class specializing in shield combat called the Oathkeeper... if you're into arpgs.

I don't believe you can shield bash in MnB but a shield is integral to blocking much nastiness thus very shield-combat-centric. Good call.

Titan Quest has a class with several shield-centric skills. Forced has a class which only has a shield but sure as hell puts it to good use.
