Lunar 2019 & Knick Knack badges are both stuck on the Profile
The Lunar 2019 badge is stuck on the extreme left and doesn't shift when you craft new badges. The Knick Knack badge has the same problem, but stuck 2nd to the left of the Lunar badge. Neither moves when you craft new badges. Steam fixes the issue by doubling the problem - go figure!

Yeah, I was hoping, when I saw the LNY displace Knick-knack, that the latter would fall off the list .... but I was disappointed there.

Has anyone tried contacting Steam directly about this? Just if not I don't mind doing so. Hopefully it is just a bug, and not another "Singstar on PS3" kind of deal. Otherwise we'll eventually end up with nothing but event badges.

I have not contacted Steam Support. I've started this thread just so people can be aware of the problem. I'm sure Valve will get the point soon enough, when more users start complaining that the problem is not solved; it's doubled!

If any Valve staff see this, they can look at my 6 most recent badges (starting 4th Jan 2019) and see the date stamps are out of order.

It says they don't have a fix yet and maybe it will be fixed with an upcoming update.

That's not good - that's not good at all! If they can't fix this, I don't think Steam Support has got any funding to do anything. Stuffing up badges and trading cards is a significant deal for Valve.

It is annoying! They just seem to be screwing up everything that's good - the old chat interface is a another example.

They have indeed fixed it: they've gone one step further and corrected it to match my above mentioned date stamp order as well. I'm glad to see this.
