Can I play "Cry of Fear " before Afraid of monsters ?
can't find Afraid of monsters on steam only Cry of Fear and feel like something spooky without paying for a game right now

Cry of fear is an impressive game, honestly. I don't know what afraid of monsters is, but Cry is excellent.

Their plots arent really connected outside of an easter egg in the latter so you can play them in eitger order just fine.

There is an ending in Cry of Fear, that requires you to know something of Afraid of Monsters (Or you're me and just look the numbers up :P)

Edit: The ending can only be obtained after completing the game at least once. There are certain steps you have to take when you are on your second playthrough.
The game has 7 different endings as far as i remember

No you do not have to play AOM before COF, but if you want to consider COF's 5th ending canon then I would personally play AOM after COF.
