Sadly Im on vacation in north africa for 2 weeks right now and I cant play them.
Any idea how to fix this problem its really pissing me off. I miss old physical media where steam would piss off and I could play my games where I want. This is really making angry.

Did you change your country setting on Steam? Because you shouldn't.

So, 1 game huh?

Ask in their forum as to why they restricted the game.

Thanks for the answer but
Well we know why ... because Im travelling right now what I want to know can I fix my problem.
As I just heard that using VPN might get you banned. that would easily fix my problem but hey.
dont you have any idea on how should I play my legaly owned game that I payed real money for but cant play while people who pirate games can play their anywhen and where?
Just to be sure you get banned for using vpn or general or only when using vpn to buy a games.

Using one to bypass the region restriction on said game is against the rules, yes.

Section 3-A...

You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account.

so I just did some research using VPN on your country of resident (I live in germany)
so if I use one for germany that should be ok if Im not wrong as Im not bypassing any of the steam agreement https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/7bfo6y/did_anyone_ever_get_in_trouble_using_a_vpn_for/
Am I right?

Valve can lock and/or terminate accounts violating the Steam Subscriber Agreement at any time.

And yes, using a VPN to get around the restriction on the game since you are not physically in Germany can lead to Valve taking action.

Even though I live there and Im in a 2 week vacation? come on thats overkill. I shouldve never bought a gaming pc and shouldve stick to my ps4 at list I wouldve been able to play my games during vacation. Isnt there anything I should do to fix this problem except never buying from steam ever again?

Ask the publisher why they put a lock on their game.

Read that quote you posted from the SA very closely, from a legal point of view the OP stated he is on holiday and in law a residence is where one lives or calls home be it a country of residence or an abode/dwelling they are registered as living at, ergo as the agreement is worded Steam couldn't do diddly squat legally should someone take their laptop on holiday, switch their region in the Steam client to where they are vacationing and take advantage of the local prices.

The agreement is worded to protect against people using a VPN to change their region on a whim to buy games from regions that are cheaper, as it stands they cannot prevent someone vacation shopping on Steam as the agreement stands unless they want to be on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

And read it again... "whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content"

The publisher added a geo restriction for their game. Hence, it can only be played in the region where the game was purchased.
