Why does Valve hate Steam Users and Trading?
Honestly, it's like a minefield to try and trade on this awful, awful platform. I try and cancel my trades and lookie there. TRADE BAN FOR A WHOLE WEEK Not something reasonable like a day. No, a whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ week. Don't have a phone? Well you're either at the mercy of a third-party program designed to tell SteamGuard to ♥♥♥♥ off or you just can't. Everything gets sent into trade purgatory. ALWAYS. Trades drop in an instant because there's ALWAYS something wrong with the servers. I'm not suprised that Valve got an F from the Better Business Bureau in customer service. Some guy from Valve even said that they'd be fixing the issue...IN 2016. I GUESS EVERYTHING *STILL* RUNS ON VALVETIME OVER THERE. Worth the wait, my ass. I always hear the reason, "B-b-but it's for your safety so hackers and scammers and phishers can't get your items." BULLDICK. I don't want the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ safety. I am not a child. I want my items. And Steam Support can't even reverse any of these restrictive things (Bless those poor souls I pity them). I imagine they print some of these complaints out just to stand around the water cooler (Or massive snackbar) and laugh at them.

Everytime I come back to Steam they always have these big ugly issues that nobody ever fixes. Nah, Valve is too preoccupied making steam look pretty with UI updates. Like diamond-studded diahrrea. Like Gold-plated vomit. Like rancid anal seepage sprinkled with glitter. There's a lot of things I hate and these restrictive policies are at the top. But ♥♥♥♥ the customer right?

well, they are trying their best to avoid 'user' getting scam but all of you only know how to complain, when scammed and complain to steam, say their security is not good, but you are the one that fall to it

I have never once fell prey to a scammer. They're pretty easy to spot. I also try not to use third party trading sites at all for trading. All of those put me at risk. As far as I'm concerned, if you get your crap stolen it's on you, buddy.

Try tell that to gullible and irresponsible people, they think otherwise - as usually.

It just baffles me that the minds at Valve could only think of punishing the users in the name of safety. Like sure, the account is secured for that long-ass amount of time but what if it was a fluke and that user wants to do other things? Great job you just made someone incredibly dissatisfied. Like, I'm sure with a little bit of thought you could smash the duality of the system. Make it good. But I never EVER see anything done about it.

When so many people couldn't trade safely without forced protection Valve stepped in and added some mandatory protection.

With you speaking like a cheap knock off of the Angry video game nerd I will be closing this topic.
