New steam UI breaks steam skins?
I just updated the UI and now the faceit skin I have for steam is broken. Is anyone else having problems like this?

Steam updates tend to break custom skins, yes.

When that happens, you have to wait for the skin dev to fix it.

If they even can. If you're using a skin that isn't being worked on anymore you're SOL.

True, though technically you can grab a beta-compatible skin and modify it yourself using the old skin's files. Not sure how well it works nowadays, but it's what I did back in '13/14.
