So If you never played PS:T then you should try the enhanced edition, if you did, then maybe try Pathfinder: Kingmaker that is pretty good as well

Speaking of the original Fallout games, those are pretty solid isometric RPGs as well. Some people are rather indifferent to them, but I think they're good...
Someone already said Disco Elysium though and that's easily one of the best. It's recent too.
Edit:
ALSO, try Tyranny. I enjoyed that game a lot, it's really good. I personally liked it better than Pillars of Eternity, though tastes may vary.
