Click their name in any forum post they made and the dropdown menu will appear. Try it on ours here.

You wouldn't be the first or last.

People that have been on the Community since it first opened don't even know about clicking on the envelope icon next to a thread title in a forum jumps you to the last/most recent post in that thread.

you mean as in discussion history is public and everyone can view everyone's post history yet comment history is restricted to you only?

Note that commenthistory (1) covers not just forum posts, unlike posthistory, and (2) includes comments written on deleted threads.

yeah sure, i guess that's what the grown men over at steam haych cue intended in the first place? i assume the logic is that discussions are public by default and dont really carry anything profiling of you personally, hence nothing for which to shame the person and nothing to gather info on them whereas profile comments can hint at the people you're friends with and whatnot, thus screening and imaging you in a way. i dont know, the way i see it having access to discussion post history reveals ample information on most people, including me. not just ample, quite plenty i would say, so im not entirely sure if thats the reasoning behind separating forum posts from forum posts plus any other possible comment you can leave on here
BUT IF YOU REALLY ASK ME no one cares about you and there is no way on earth someones legit gonna use steam comment history to dox a person lol
