Not able to gift my friends red dead redemption 2

It always shows unexpected error has occurred and your purchase has not been completed.
Steam support is not responding to this issue. Need help with this.

some accounts have to spend as much as they recieve to get gifts. someone who only recieves and never gives i thikn can reach a limit on what they can get i know sending games to my roomate they have to spend a certain amount of money to start revieving gifts again. some anti fraud scam thing. or are buying tehm the game when they live in another region if the price difference between the two countries is more than 10%, you can no longer send the product as a gift.

buy them a steam card. via the steam store. but you cant use steam funds. zero possible way.

https://store.steampowered.com/digitalgiftcards/ Only way to send funds outside your region as it auto sets currency rates per region.

this is to prevent scammers. from making an vpn'd account located in the cheapest areas known in steam pricing. and then loading all their funds to that via paypal or other means. and then gifting the games to other said accounts when some places get a 60% markdown compaired to some locations due to their local economy. this stopped around 2017 april i believe now games in those cheaper regions are locked to people who live in those regions.

cant do anythign for your friend then if they dont live in that said region. not since 2017

The problem is your account has been flagged as a gift seller, contact support only them can help you.

facing the same issue..I never gifted anyone any games so I am definitely not a seller and the dude I am trying to gift it to spent a lot on steam for himself definitely more than the rdr2 price..so I don't know where the problem is

my friend is facing same issue. he cant gift me the tekken 7, he always get that stupid error.
but I can gift him any games without any problem and... steam stewpeed support is not responding to the ticker my god.
