Games missing from steam library (no warning also unable to locate them on the steam store)
There are a few classic games I find myself drawn to every now and then. Games such as Dark Souls & Fall Out New Vegas. Yet since the library update they are nowhere to be found! I have pulled my steam transaction history and at least 40% of purchases are not in my library. Is anyone else aware of this happening?

Check what filters are active and whether the library only shows installed games.

"Transaction history" is pretty much irrelevant; the important part is your library.

Avoid using the client frontend for checks like this, and go directly to your list of licenses. Once you have verified that a game is in your library, you can start looking at your filter settings to find out why you aren't seeing it in the frontend.

Thanks for that. I removed licenses for games I played once, hated, and am tired of seeing updates about in the "New and Improved" library.
