save files not syncing

i play kotor on laptop and on a desktop on the desktop i played a little further in the story and when i tried to play on the laptop there are only old saves my new saves arent there

what do i do?

- Can try verification.
- Delete save and have it try to download automatically.
- Head to the cloud save, and download the save yourself.

how do i put the installed saves in the save file?

Steam support > My account > Data related to my account > scroll to upload content section, and first one is Steam cloud. Takes couple seconds to load the page when you click Steam cloud button. Then download your cloud save for your game.

To replacing the game save, just find where the save location is, and replace it there.

By chance did you upload the older save?

Try this copy latest save you have on your other device, bring it over to your current system, start game, replace the old save with the latest save, close game, and relaunch it.

thank you it worked , do i do the same if i play a couple hours on the desktop and it dint sync to the laptop?

Yea just repeat the process, if your save didn't sync and download on other device when you're switching around.

Normally when close the game it will sync your save, but if doesn't, do it manually works as well.

Do you mean from steam cloud? for some reason the latest file was made in july in my steam cloud, even though i've recently just played the game. Where can i download the latest save from one computer to transfer it to another?

When Steam upload your save that should be the latest version that is uploaded, unless either Steam cloud was disable by game dev, or you, or that Steam wasn't updating your latest version to your Steam cloud.

You use broswer to download your files from Steam cloud from your account, then launch game, replace the files, close game, then Steam should upload whatever latest, or files you wanted to upload with the replace files in this case the files you downloaded, and when you launch the game, it should be using your replacement files you had done.

In really super rare cases on very few games, if a game devs update the game save feature, and making old files incompatible, then it will forces you to make new save for the new format.

Type name of game, it should tell you where the save file location should be, and that be where you place your save at.

Hello. I am having this same issue, but neither cloud syncing nor manually replacing the save file is working. I even went to far as to delete every blush blush related file on my computer. Is there anything else I can try? Thank you.

Transferring progress from my laptop to my desktop. The laptop has more progress, but the desktop save is stuck right where I left it, even after syncing steam and manually replacing the save file on the desktop with the laptop save file.

So copy save from laptop > bring it to desktop > Launch game > Replace save click yes to replace when drag and drop file from the laptop > Close game > then relaunch game, then test.

What game having issue with?
