Trading errors, delays and failed loads. Will it ever end?
Those of us who are frequent traders are well accustomed to this, but it even seems worse now. All day long, every day, 7 days a week, constant, never ending errors, delays and failed page loads.

All .....Day......Long....Every....Day

Talk about a total disrespect of their customers.

I have spent gobs of cash on their games and their store. I expect their service to be available and functional 24/7. We have all paid for it, whether you trade or not.

Nothing wrong with my trades. I do 8000 item trades and I've never had any issues with it apart from it taking half an hour to get through.

Maybe Valve is testing the Waters?

How deep can we swim before it's too Deep to resurface back to shore?

I don't know...

What about now? Yes? Oky, i've done my chore for the day,

I feel so proud of myself now...

Meanwhile (ANGRY MOB) Still won't leave STEAM...

Lucky you. Are you exaggerating about the half hour? When mine go through, it's never more than about 90 seconds, except for a very rare exception where steam is having massive problems all day long.

No I'm not. Half an hour is actually generous to say the least. They could take much longer. Again, it's 8000 items PER TRADE so I'm not going to fault Steam for it.

Oh, my bad, I totally read that too fast. Yeah, I would expect that for a super large trade.

The only thing that actually pisses me off about trades isn't the trade process since I've done hundreds of trades and none of them had any issues. The problem is that my trade history is so huge that Steam's servers aren't able to load it anymore. I personally contacted support about it and they self admitted that their servers are not capable of loading it and they aren't able to help me.

Hey there,

Sorry about the previous message. We misunderstood your issue.

This issue does appear to be related to the large number of items per trade that you have completed in the past. This large volume seems to be giving our system trouble when it tries to display it for you.

Unfortunately the only option we can offer for this is to keep testing the issue periodically. We understand that this is frustrating and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Best Regards,
Anthony
