Are you trying to use a coupon, this is not possible for gifting. How many games have you gifted lately,perhaps you reached the limit.

Thanks for responding Xite, I am not using a coupon. I’ve seen the same issue on the forum section, it hasn’t been fixed. I’ve been trying the casual method of gifting via store purchase with my steam wallet fund since yesterday. Few more hours till the sale ends :(.

Waiting for support is your only option. Forum user, for obvious reasons, can't do jack about purchase issues.
